Arthian’s phased approach helped shape remediation discussions and future land use decisions.
Arthian undertook a phased site investigation approach comprising:
- Preliminary desk study assessments
- Coal mining risk assessment
- Intrusive investigations
Given the project was to inform a site sale, risk assessments were undertaken to consider different criteria including residential and commercial end uses which would help inform development design options based on the current condition of the site.
Arthian provided a proactive approach to discussions with the client about remedial options and how the remediation of sites are regulated in the industry.
