ISEP Certified Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Implementation
This three-day Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) certified guided learning course provides a practical and structured approach to implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS), aligned with ISO 14001 standards. It is designed for professionals responsible for environmental compliance, performance improvement, and sustainability integration.
The course offers step-by-step guidance on planning, developing, and embedding an EMS that supports legal compliance, risk management, and continual improvement.
ISEP Assessment and Certification
This course is delivered as an ISEP-certified course. Delegates who attend the 3-days training and successfully pass the two-part assessment receive an ISEP Certificate.
Part 1 is a timed Multiple-Choice Assessment (40% of mark), allowing for 20 to 45 minutes on completion of the course.
Part 2 is a Modest Project Exercise (60 % of mark) which is in your own time within 28 days of the last day’s delivery of the course. This is anticipated to be around 2 hours of work.
Delegates who do not complete their course assessments within 28 days can be issued a non-ISEP, Arthian Certificate of Attendance.
Delivery Format
The course will be delivered over 3 full days (7 hours) and can be delivered virtually or in person. All delegates will be issued a certificate upon completion of this EMS Implementation course. Assessments can be provided within this course and delivered as an ISEP-certified course for delegates.

- Planning and implementing EMS processes and documentation
- Monitoring, auditing, and improving environmental performance

- Understand key Environmental Management Standards and the certification process
- Understand how to plan and manage the implementation of an EMS
