Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates
The Challenge
Fife Council had a large volume of 150 buildings that required up to date Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). The properties were located across the authority and consisted of a mix of primary and secondary schools, libraries, community and sports centres, museums, theatres and bespoke places such as Botanic Gardens
The Solution
Arthian planned and delivered the program of non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates for over 150 sites, arranging all the site visits as part of this contract. Our Senior Contract Coordinator liaised with all the relevant site contacts, explaining the reason for the visit, what the assessor needed access to and how long it would take. The assessors emphasised that the surveys were non-intrusive and would be sympathetic to the building users. This helped ensure that access was granted and all visits went ahead with no issues.
Due to the success in delivering this program of work, we were asked to deliver the service for further sites along with ad-hoc requests.
"Arthian has supported Fife Council with Energy Performance
Certificates (EPCs) across our estate ensuring our sites remain
compliant. Arthian have delivered a great service throughout that time,
and we would recommend their building services team for future work"
