What Is CIRIA C736?

CIRIA C736: Containment Systems for the Prevention of Pollution is the UK’s most widely recognised guidance for secondary and tertiary containment. It applies to a broad range of sites—from small depots and warehouses to large petrochemical plants—and covers best practice guidance for businesses on preventing pollution incidents related to spills, fire, and floods, particularly for those storing hazardous substances.
