ISEP Certified Carbon Footprinting and Reporting
This engaging 1-day Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professional (ISEP) certified course provides a practical, hands-on approach to carbon footprinting and reporting. It delves into key frameworks, standards, and step-by-step methodologies for accurate emissions quantification.

Course Objectives
The course objectives are to achieve an understanding of:
- Climate change and greenhouse gases;
- Monitoring, measuring and reducing carbon emissions;
- Carbon management measures including carbon footprinting, carbon trading, carbon offsetting and more;
- Developing and managing carbon accounting systems.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course delegates will:
- Understand the essential mechanisms of climate change, greenhouse gas emissions, and related risks and opportunities.
- Explain global climate frameworks, UK policy impacts, and the role of stakeholder and supply chain engagement in the context of carbon accounting.
- Understand the compliance requirements of ESOS, SECR & PPN 06/21.
- Understand how to develop a GHG accounting system and learn skills for continual improvement for more accurate reporting.
- Understand the steps involved in calculating a carbon footprint.
- Identify effective methods for stakeholder communication, taking account of reporting frameworks and standard.
- Explain the role of carbon footprinting in achieving Net Zero through reduction and removal strategies.
