- Stage 2: Concept Design: first sketches and outline ideas – exploring different design options
- Stage 3: Spatial Coordination: developing the chosen design – including type, spatial layouts, utilities needed, and planning permissions
- Stage 4: Technical Design: detailed drawings and specifications – including construction and tendering packs for contractors to price
- Stage 5: Manufacturing & Construction: the actual building work happening on site and project delivery alongside project management
