Environmental Policy

With offices in the UK and Ireland, Arthian Ltd provides planning, design, environmental, engineering, safety consulting, training, and verification services for the Bord Bia Origin Green Programme.

Environmental services are core to our business, and Arthian Ltd aims to practice what we preach.

We operate an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001:2015 requirements.

Arthian Ltd is committed to the environmental aims listed below, which we strive to achieve through employee cooperation and efficient management procedures.

1. Protection of the Environment

• Arthian is committed to protecting the environment and preventing pollution, including in the services we provide to external parties.

• We introduce programmes to minimise the consumption of resources — including fossil fuels — and to encourage recovery and recycling instead of disposal wherever feasible at our office locations.

• Through our consulting and engineering design services, and in collaboration with our contractors and suppliers, we aim to identify opportunities for significant positive environmental impact.

2. Meeting Legal Obligations

• We incorporate environmental performance evaluation procedures and associated indicators into our EMS.

• We ensure compliance with current and future legislation, as well as any other relevant codes of practice applicable to our operations.

3. Continual Improvement

• We strive for continual improvement in our environmental performance.

• We establish and monitor a programme of environmental objectives and targets to drive measurable improvements.
